The vacation auto responder feature is tied to the Vacation availability type. More on all calendar availability types here.
When you schedule time off through Vacation Time-Off, you will see a toggle (turned off by default) that you can turn on and type in a custom message for.
Here is what the message (above) looks like on the clients end. In this case, the client sent a message to their trainer during a time that had the vacation time-off turned on.
