To learn how to create a nutrition goal for a client, visit: How to Create a Nutrition Goal for a Client
If you need to update an existing goal, you can edit it at any time from the client's profile. The steps vary slightly depending on whether the client is using a Smart Meal Plan or Flexible Meal Plan.
Edit a Nutrition Goal Without a Smart Meal Plan
- In the Client's profile, select the Goals and Habits tab.
- Click Current Goals.
- Click on the three-dot menu and click Edit.
- Adjust the current goal and click Save.
The client's nutrition goal will be updated and they will receive a notification informing them of the change.
When updating the nutrition goal for a client, past meals on the client's dashboard will reflect the goal at the time they were logged. However, their nutrition compliance will reflect the current goal.
When a meal is tracked, it saves a copy of the current nutrition goal. This means that if/when a nutrition goal is changed, clients are able to go back and update a meal logged in the past, which will change the nutrition compliance for that day to reflect the current goal.
Edit a Nutrition Goal With a Smart Meal Plan/Flexible Meal Plan
If the client already has a Smart Meal Plan or Flexible Meal Plan generated, updating the nutrition goal will also require regenerating the meal plan so it matches the new targets.
- In the Client's profile, select the Goals and Habits tab.
- Click Current Goals.
-
Click on the three-dot menu and click Edit.
- Adjust the current goal and click Save & Generate Meal Plan.
5. Confirm the update when prompted.
6. A new meal plan reflecting the updated nutrition goal will automatically generate in the client's Meal Plan tab.
