Tools to Help You Manage Your Groups

Groups are a powerful tool for building digital communities within ABC Trainerize, acting like a private social hub similar to Facebook groups.  Whether you are working with sports teams, virtual small group training, support groups, or corporate wellness programs, Groups offer a space to connect, engage, and motivate up to 1000 members.

Learn more about boosting client engagement with ABC Trainerize groups in our help article here.

Key Features of Groups

ABC Trainerize Groups are designed with easy navigation in mind, featuring a side panel on both the web and mobile app that includes four key sections: Summary, Files, Timeline, and Members.

Please note: Only trainers see the four tabs as shown above. Clients, however, only see the Summary and Files tabs.

Summary

The Summary tab displays the Master Program (if attached) and its fixed start date. Learn more about attaching Master Programs to groups here.

Below the Program section, you will find any Workout of the Day's (WOD's) that have been shared within the Group.

Files

The Files section stores all attachments shared within the Group chat. This is a convenient spot for trainers to access important documents and find previous files that were shared.

Please note: you cannot delete files from within the Files tab. To delete a file from a Group, the actual message within the group chat containing the file attachment must be deleted.

Timeline

The Timeline functions as a "Recent Activities" feed for the Group, showing all activities of clients within the Group. This allows trainers to easily see what clients are up to, what activities have been missed, and provides insights into client engagement.

The other place you will see "Recent Activities" is on the Overview page, but that's for the entire business!

Members

The Members section lists all group members along with their roles (e.g. group admin, trainer, client). Trainers can click on a client's name to quickly access their profile, making it easy to manage client progress and interactions.
