ABC Trainerize provides several tools to help you deliver educational content to your clients, helping them learn and progress alongside their fitness programs. By utilizing features like custom exercise videos, workouts, programs, and on-demand libraries, you can create a comprehensive learning experience tailored to your client's needs.
Using Custom Exercises and Workouts to Deliver Educational Content
The custom exercise and workout features allow you to create and deliver video lessons/modules to clients. Here's how:
1. Upload Educational Videos as Custom Exercises or Video Workouts
You can record and upload videos on topics like nutrition, recovery, mindset, or any other educational focus. There are two options for custom video upload in ABC Trainerize:
Custom Exercise Videos:
- Custom exercise videos can be up to 5 minutes long.
- You can create a workout using one exercise video or multiple exercise videos within a single workout.
Video Workouts:
- To upload longer videos, consider using the Video Coaching Add-on to upload video workouts instead, which can be up to 60 minutes long.
2. Organize Content into Phased or On-Demand Programs
Phased programs: Schedule lessons on specific days in the program calendar for a more structured and guided learning experience.
On-Demand Programs: Build a library of content that clients can access anytime, offering a flexible option for self-paced learning.
3. Customize Titles, Labels and Descriptions
Clearly label and describe your educational content to ensure clients understand it's purpose:
- Example titles: "Lesson 1: The Basics of Hydration", "Lesson 2: Building Better Habits".
- Use the description field in the workout builder to provide instructions or action steps that clients can apply.
4. Subscribing Clients
Make sure to subscribe clients to these educational programs as an "add-on" programs, to supplement their main training program.
Note: Keep in mind that "Lessons" completed will appear as workouts completed.
Using Groups to Share Educational Content
Another great way to share educational content is by utilizing the Groups feature. Through groups, you can:
- Post resources like PDFs, links, and videos.
- Create discussions around educational topics.
- Provide ongoing access to shared materials.
