How to Purchase the Video Coaching Add-on
You can purchase the Video Coaching add-on in one of three ways:
1. During Subscription Plan Upgrade:
- When upgrading to a Pro subscription plan, you will be prompted to select any add-ons you would like to purchase, including the Video Coaching add-on.
2. From the Add-ons Menu:
- Navigate to Add-ons > Trainerize Add-ons from your ABC Trainerize web account and select 'Buy' next to Video Coaching.
3. Studio and Enterprise Plans:
- By upgrading to one of our Studio plans, the Video Coaching feature is included in your plan.
Understanding Video Usage
Video Calling Time:
- Video calling time is the total combined duration each client spends in a video call.
- For example: A 1-hour video call with 40 clients will use 40 hours of video calling.
Video Streaming time:
- Streaming time is the total amount of time your clients collectively spend watching your video workouts.
- Streaming begins when a client presses play on a workout video.
- Closing and rewatching a video again counts as a new stream.
- When skipping ahead to different timestamps in a video (i.e., scrubbing forward or backward), only the time spent actually playing the video counts toward streaming time. For example, watching 5 minutes of a video and then jumping ahead 5 minutes and watching for another 10 minutes, counts as 15 minutes of streaming time, not 20 minutes.
- Streaming time is consumed by 1-minute intervals.
What Happens If I Run Out of Streaming or Calling Time?
If your calling or streaming time runs out, your clients won't be able to:
- Watch your uploaded video workouts
- Join video call sessions
When this happens, the account owner will be notified and can top up the account.
To avoid service interruptions, we recommend enabling Auto-recharge for your video hours. When you have used up all your base hours, we will use the extra credits to cover any extra usage. Here's how to set up auto-recharge:
1. From your ABC Trainerize web account, navigate to Settings > Billing and scroll down to Video Coaching Add-on. Select Setup for the service you want to have auto-reload (video calling, video workout streaming, or both).
2. Select the number of packs you want to auto-recharge at a time.
- 1 pack of video calling gives you 20 hours of video calls for $10.00 USD. This will kick in when you have 1 hour left of video calling base session time.
- 1 pack of video streaming time gives you 100 hours of video streaming for $10.00 USD. This will kick in when you have 10 hours remaining of video streaming base time.
3. Once you save your changes, you can go back and edit or remove the auto-recharge option at any time.
4. Your time will automatically reload whenever you have 1 hour remaining of video calling and 10 hours remaining of video streaming.
