How to sell personal training packages and track sessions in Trainerize

Whether you're an independent trainer, or a studio or gym owner, personal training is a key money maker, among other services! If you sell bundle services or run personal training sessions only, the ability to sell sessions is going to come in handy!

With session packs, your members can quickly and easily make a purchase without needing to come into the gym, pick up the phone, or jump through any other administrative hoops. Talk about an easy, breezy client experience! Ultimately, when you give your clients the option to purchase multiple personal training sessions at once, it can help them truly commit to their training programs. Plus, you can also use the sessions as a selling point because they’re one-on-one time that a client gets to spend with you!

There are three steps required in order to sell personal training packages. The help articles below will go into more detail. We will also outline the steps in this help article.

1. Create a paid Appointment type

2. Create a Product for sale (and sell it to your clients)

3. Schedule the appointment(s) into your client's calendar

1. Create a paid Appointment type

Under Settings > Appointment Types, you will first need to create the type of appointment you wish to sell. For example, 30 minute or 1 hour PT, Nutrition Coaching Call, Weekly Check-In etc. In this step, you can also select whether the appointment is one on one, group, with or without video etc. The most important step is to remember that you need to select "Require session credit" before you add the appointment.

2. Create a Product for sale (and sell it to your clients)

Under Payments > Products. Create a Product for sale. The article above will outline the three ways you can incorporate sessions into your product. Once your client has paid for the product, you can move on to the next step.

3. Schedule the appointment(s) into your client's calendar

When the product has been purchased by your client, the sessions that were included in the product are now ready to be scheduled.
