Whether you're an independent trainer or a studio/gym owner, personal training sessions are a major revenue driver. If you offer standalone personal training or bundle sessions with other services, allowing clients to purchase and schedule their sessions easily is key.
With session packs, clients can purchase multiple training sessions at once- no need for phone calls, in-person signups, or administrative hoops. Plus, one-on-one training time is a valuable selling point that can set your services apart.
Selling personal training packages requires three steps. Click on the headings below to be directed to additional help articles for more details on each step.
Step 1: Create a Paid Appointment Type
First, you need to define the type of appointment you are selling:
1. Go to Settings > Event Types and toggle to '1 on 1 Appointments'.
2. Click the blue New button to add a new 1 on 1 appointment and customize the details:
- Name (e.g., PT Session, Nutrition Coaching Call, Weekly Check-In)
- Duration (e.g., 30 minute or 1 hour)
- Format (in person or virtual)
- Cancellation/reschedule settings
- Client self-booking option
3. The most important step is to enable "Require session credit" before adding.
Step 2: Create a Product to Sell
Now that your appointment type is set up, create a product for sale:
1. Go to Payments > Products.
2. Click the blue ADD PRODUCT button to create a product and choose how you want to price and sell sessions:
- Main product with sessions
- Add-on product with sessions
- Session pack product
Once your product is live using our Stripe Integrated Payments add-on, clients can purchase sessions online.
Step 3: Schedule Appointments Onto Client Calendar
After clients purchase a product with sessions, their available sessions will be tracked on their account profile. Now it's time to book their training sessions. You can:
- Schedule sessions on cleint calendar: Navigate to the clents profile and book their upcoming sessions directly on their calendar. Session credits will be deducated from the clients profile once booked.
- Allow clients to self-book sessions: If enabled for the appointment type, clients will be able to book available time slots using their session credits.
Once scheduled, clients will recieve reminders of their upcoming sessions within the app.
