Some trainers may want to use the ABC Trainerize app to work out, log their own workouts, and track progress just like a client would. While there isn’t a built-in way for trainers to directly “train themselves,” you can use this workaround by simply adding yourself as a client!
Note: Adding yourself as a client will take up one client seat on your subscription plan.
Adding Yourself as a Client
When adding yourself as a client on your account, you will need to use a secondary email address (different from the email address tied to your trainer and/or owner account). The system will not allow identical emails to be used.
Download the Peak Fitness App
To log in as a client, download the Peak Fitness App. This is the internal app used by ABC Trainerize for testing and is the recommended option for trainers adding themselves as clients.

The Peak Fitness app allows you to log in as a client without logging out as a trainer on your ABC Trainerize mobile application. Otherwise, you would be required to log in and out each time you want to switch between your trainer and client accounts.
Log in With Your Client Account
Open the Peak Fitness app and sign in with the secondary email address you used to set yourself up as a client.
From there, you’ll have access to the same features your clients see, including:
- Logging workouts
- Tracking progress
- Viewing your calendar and dashboard
