Group Leaders help you manage who can edit a group's details, including group name, program and settings. This role is especially useful for larger fitnesses businesses or studios with multiple trainers ad groups, ensuring only authorized users can make changes.
Once your group has been created, you can assign Group Leaders to oversee program management, moderate conversations, and help fun groups effectively.
How to Set a Trainer as a Group Leader
By default, Account Owners and Admins automatically become Group Leaders when they join a group.
You can add or remove other leaders on the mobile app or web:
What Can Group Leaders Do?
Group Leaders have advanced permissions in groups that allow them to manage group setup and member interactions.
Leaders can:
- Add or remove group members
- Subscribe and unsubscribe the group from a Master Program
- Edit or rename the group
- Adjust group settings (i.e. auto-post settings and posting visibility)
- Respond to reported comments
- Delete messages from any client or trainer
How to Identify Group Leaders
Within the Members tab of a group, each member/trainer has a label next to their name indicating their role:
- Leader- shows which trainers are Group Leaders
- Trainer- shows which trainers are in the group
- Client- shows which users are group participants
