In this article:

What will my branded app look like?

The Pro Custom Branded App offers basic branding to individualize your ABC Trainerize account for you and your clients. The image below shows an example of a Pro Custom Branded App:

Your branding is applied to:

  1. Mobile app icon (left image)
  2. Launch/welcome screen (middle image)
  3. Mobile app top bar (right image)
  4. Favicon (web browser tab icon)

Please note: this Custom branding will provide you with your own unique app listing in the Google play store. IOS iPhone users will still download Trainerize, however, when they log in, your branded assets will be applied. Learn more about this here.

1. Mobile Icon

The custom app includes a unique mobile app icon that will appear on the mobile home screen. For iOS apps, this icon is applied only after logging into the ABC Trainerize fitness app. For Android apps, the icon is visible upon download.

Note: iOS apps will always display the name "Fitness App" on the home screen and not your app name. This cannot be changed. Android apps will display your mobile app name.

2. Launch/Welcome Screen

Each time you or a client opens the app, a personalized launch screen (also called a welcome screen) will appear. This page is built using your logo, an image of your choosing,  and an overlay colour of your choice.

Note: Your logo can only be placed in the centre of the screen.

3. Mobile Top Bar

Inside your app, you and your clients will see a branded top bar, featuring your logo and overlay colour of your choice.

4. Favicon (Browser Tab Icon)

When logging into the web version of your custom app, both you and your clients will see a custom favicon applied to your browser tab. This favicon features a miniaturized version of your logo and colour.

What can I expect for iOS vs Android?

All purchases of a Custom Branded App come with both an iOS version and an Android version of the app. Both versions include the same branding (as outlined above). Your branded app is housed under our ABC Trainerize Developer Accounts.

Android app:

The Android version is provided as a stand-alone app with a unique listing in the Google Play Store.

iOS app:

The iOS version is pushed out to trainers and clients through the main Trainerize Fitness App. Due to Apple App Store policies, iOS does not have a unique listing in the Apple App Store. This cannot be altered or changed. This means that your clients and trainers will download the main ABC Trainerize iOS app, and your branding will be applied upon sign-in.

For more information on this, please refer to our help article: Why Doesn't My Pro Custom Branded App Have an Apple App Store Listing?

Can I get a preview of my app?

We do not offer previews of your Pro Custom Branded App. When you submit your app logos and assets to the web publisher, you can view a preview of what your app will look like within the interactive publisher. Once submitted, our team reviews each submission manually to confirm it matches our standards. Should we have any concerns, we will reach out to you directly.

When will my app be ready?

The total process can take up to 8-12 weeks pending volume. this timeframe cannot be altered or changed.

The length depends on a few factors:

  • The number of branded apps in the queue to be designed and processed
  • Apple and Google approval process
  • If our team has reached out to you concerning your app but we have not heard back (i.e. if we need a new image or app description, etc)
