How To Schedule Workouts and Cardio Activities For Clients on the Web

You can schedule workouts for your clients into their individual calendars based on their unique schedules using the Web! If you would like to learn how to schedule activities via the Mobile App, see this article: How to Schedule Workouts and Cardio Activities for Clients on the Mobile App

Please note, workouts can also be scheduled into a Program calendar for multiple clients to use. More information on Programs is here.

Once you've created a training plan and added workouts to it, you're ready to schedule those workouts into your client's calendar.

You'll need to open the client's profile and go to their Calendar tab.

On the calendar, click on the day that you wish to schedule a Workout or Cardio Activity.

Scheduling repeating activities: You can schedule for just one day or multiple weeks (if you choose multiple weeks it will schedule the workout for the number of consecutive weeks you have chosen.

For example, in the screenshot above, we have started to schedule our "Lower Body Push" Workout in this client calendar.

To repeat this workout on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for one week– we would click the "Set up repeat options"  button which will bring up the below pop-up where we can select the days and duration of this repeating event.

Making Changes to Scheduled Workouts

Workouts scheduled on a client's calendar are instances of the workouts within their training phase. This means that any modifications made to the workout in the client's training phase will automatically update the scheduled workout in the client's calendar.

This workflow changes if the workouts have been progressed using the Progression Editor. If a scheduled workout is progressed using the Progression Editor, any changes made to the workout will not be reflected in the workouts on the client's calendar.

The workouts would have to be unscheduled and rescheduled within the training phase of the client's program in order for the changes to be reflected.

  • For example: Imagine you have a workout named "Strength Training A" scheduled for your client every Monday for 4 weeks. You have progressed the workout using the Progression Editor to change the reps/weight each week the workout is scheduled.
  • You then decide to update the workout by adding a new exercise. To ensure this change is reflected:
    1. Unschedule "Strength Training A" from all future Mondays on the client's calendar
    2. Reschedule the newly updated "Strength Training A" for the same dates
  • The updated workout will now be reflected in the progression editor and can be progressed.
