After a product is created, you can change all of its details, with the exception of the payment type (recurring/one-time upfront). However, for clients who have purchased the product or currently have it set to pending, their version of the product will be grandfathered on the following properties:
- Price
- Billing Period Cycle
- Product Duration
- Product Start Date
- Session Credits
If you change the product name, description, or image, it will impact their version. Changing the automation that runs on the product start date will also impact their product if it hasn't started yet (still pending or upcoming).
Instead of canceling and re-adding their products to lower the product price, you can add a discount code to their product. If you want to increase their price, you will need to remove and re-add the products to their accounts.
