Getting Started with FitMetrics
Is FitMetrics a separate app my clients have to download?
No. Your clients never download anything new. They keep using the same Trainerize app they already have.
FitMetrics provides a separate interface for coaches. Depending on the FitMetrics features and settings you use, clients may see additional messages, forms, or other client-facing items like meal photo logging within ABC Trainerize.
Where do I access FitMetrics?
You start FitMetrics from the FitMetrics tab in the left panel of your ABC Trainerize account.
From there, you can begin the FitMetrics trial, select a plan, and continue through the connection and setup process.
For step-by-step instructions, see: How to Connect FitMetrics
Why would I use FitMetrics if I already use ABC Trainerize?
FitMetrics is an add-on that connects with your ABC Trainerize account and provides additional coaching and business-management tools. Depending on the features you use, this may include AI-assisted coaching, client insights, roster organization, compliance tools, automations, and integrations.
Coaches access FitMetrics through the FitMetrics interface, while clients continue using ABC Trainerize. For a complete overview of FitMetrics features, see
Is FitMetrics only for solo coaches?
No. FitMetrics can be used by solo coaches, studios, and teams.
The tools and plan that are appropriate for you depend on your roster size, coaching workflows, and whether you manage other coaches.
FitMetrics AI Features
Do my clients know I'm using AI with FitMetrics?
That depends on how you configure and use FitMetrics.
Some FitMetrics AI features create drafts or recommendations for you to review, while other workflows may create client-facing outputs based on the settings you choose. Before using an AI feature with clients, review how it appears and what it can send.
If the FitMetrics AI Assistant appears as a team member, you can configure its name and profile information where those options are available in your account.
Can I customize FitMetrics AI to follow my coaching methods?
FitMetrics provides configuration options that guide its AI tools using your coaching preferences, instructions, business information, website content, or Q&A knowledge base.
These settings can help AI-generated outputs better reflect your coaching approach and preferred tone. Available options vary by feature.
Can I use FitMetrics without using AI features?
Yes. AI features are optional. You can use other FitMetrics tools for client organization, insights, compliance, workflows, and business management without using every AI feature.

FitMetrics Pricing & Billing:
What does Fitmetrics cost?
Starter plan starts at $150/month (Covers a minimum of 25 clients). Scale plan starts at $500/month. Pricing scales with your client count above the minimums — no per-client pricing below the floor. Combined with Studio Plus ($275/month), the full stack comes to around $575/month at 100 clients — roughly $5.75 per client per month.
Does my FitMetrics bill change if clients join or leave mid-month?
Yes, billing is prorated. If a client joins halfway through the month, you're only charged for the days they were active — not the full month. The same applies if someone cancels early. Your billing dashboard in FitMetrics shows a full history so you can see exactly how charges are calculated.
Am I charged for clients I haven't removed in FitMetrics?
You're charged for every client in an active coaching status. If you have old clients you're no longer actively coaching, switch them to Basic or Offline status inside Trainerize — they won't count toward your bill. You keep the data; you stop being charged.
What's the difference between the FitMetrics Starter and Scale plan — which one do I actually need?
For most coaches, Starter covers everything. It includes AI meal analysis, AI forms, AI check-ins, the AI assistant, workout builder, compliance tracker, smart views, and automations. Scale plan is for coaches who need the Blood Test Portal, run courses, manage a team of 5+ coaches, or do a high-volume low-ticket coaching where they want AI to handle the full client relationship with minimal human touch.

Setup & Integration:
How long does it take to get set up FitMetrics?
Setup time varies depending on your configuration and onboarding requirements.
You can get started by opening the FitMetrics tab on your ABC Trainerize web account and follow the connection steps.
The platform has a self-onboarding library with videos covering every key setup step. You can also review the FitMetrics getting started guide.
What happens to my existing ABC Trainerize client data when I connect FitMetrics?
Your ABC Trainerize client history (including weights, workouts, and nutrition logs dating back to 2024) imports automatically after you connect your account. The initial import typically takes approximately 24–48 hours.
You can begin using FitMetrics while the import is in progress, although some historical information may not be available until the import is complete.
What browser should I use with FitMetrics?
Chrome is recommended for the most stable experience.
Does FitMetrics work with wearables such as WHOOP and Oura Ring?
Yes. FitMetrics supports integrations with wearables such as Whoop and Oura Ring. Both integrate directly, pulling recovery, sleep, and readiness data into the client’s profile alongside their ABC Trainerize activity.
From WHOOP, FitMetrics pulls all recovery and physiological metrics, including:
- Recovery score
- Strain
- Sleep stages
- SPO2
- Skin temperature
- HRV
- Resting heart rate
From OURA Ring, FitMetrics pulls:
- Readiness score
- Sleep score
- Activity score
- HRV
- Resting heart rate
- Body temperature
- Sleep stages
Does FitMetrics integrate with Zoom, Stripe, Zapier, or Make.com?
Yes. FitMetrics supports integration with tools such as Zoom, Stripe, Zapier, and Make.com.
Zoom calls are logged to client profiles automatically, with recordings, summaries, and action items all stored there.
Stripe connects for payment tracking (MRR, next payment date, subscription status).
Zapier and Make.com connect via webhooks so you can trigger external automations from Smart View events — Slack notifications, phone alerts, email sequences, etc.
Do I need my custom branded app to be live in the App Store before I can start using Fitmetrics?
No — the two are completely independent. You can connect Fitmetrics and start using it immediately, regardless of where you are in the branded app setup process. Your clients won't notice anything different on their end either way.
Why not just use ChatGPT instead of FitMetrics?
ChatGPT is a general-purpose AI tool and typically requires you to provide the relevant client information and context.
FitMetrics is designed specifically for coaching operations. When connected to ABC Trainerize, it can use supported client data, check-in history, compliance information, and conversation context to support AI-assisted coaching workflows.
This allows FitMetrics to provide more relevant assistance within your existing coaching environment, without requiring you to manually collect and provide the client information each time.
