The Insights Dashboard provides a centralized, at-a-glance view of key information to help support progress and coaching conversations. Whether you’re a trainer or a client, this dashboard makes it easy to quickly understand performance, activity, and opportunities for improvement all in one place!
We are working to build and expand this early access experience– with updates to featured widgets and graphs coming soon as development continues!
How to access the insights dashboard
WEB:
- Navigate to your Client's dashboard, Select the Progress Tab, Click Insights Dashboard from the secondary column menu.
MOBILE:
- From the Client tab, select a client > Tap the Insights Icon next to their name > Open the Insights Dashboard and view:
What Can I see on the Insights Dashboard?
There are three main areas to view client data on the Insight's Dashboard on both Mobile and Web:
- Weekly Compliance: A colour coded quick view of a client’s completion rate of habits, nutrition goals, and workouts throughout the week.
- View of Scheduling and Activities: View clients completed and scheduled activities–

- Schedule (Trainer + Client view): A quick view of a client’s activities related to scheduling (including habits, workouts, nutrition, body stats, etc.)
- Activity (Trainer view only): A breakdown of clients recently completed activities.

- Widget data: Each widget provides a detailed breakdown of a specific metric, featuring a graph, an average trend line, and a selectable time range to track progress over time. (See section below for more detail)
Widgets on the Insights Dashboard:
- The early access Insights dashboard includes four widgets displaying the most viewed insights on ABC Trainerize.

Filtering Widget Data:
View Range:
- Each Widget displays data in a daily view across the previous 7 days by default on Wed or the previous 14 days on mobile.
- You can also switch to Monthly, 3-Month, 6-Month, or 1-Year views to track longer-term trends based on your currently selected date.
- Example: the Sleep widget shows nightly sleep duration along with an average trend line to help you easily monitor patterns over time.

Showing Widget Data, Averages, or Both:
WEB:
- By default, on the Web, the graph will display the data across the previous 7 days and the average trend line across the entire visible graph.
- To hide either data set– click the “Data Type” (Body weight etc.) icon, or the “Average” Icon below the graph.
- To show a hidden data set again, simply click the same toggle to restore it to the graph.
- Note: The option to hide and resurface the data/trend line is only available on the web.

Can I see these insights in more detail? (Client & Trainer View)
Trainer View (WEB):
- Schedule and Activity Insights:
- Clicking on an item within the Schedule or Activity sections will open a pop-up with additional details and direct you to the client’s calendar.

- Example: Selecting a Nutrition activity within Schedule– such as tracked meals, will display the full details for that day. Once you close the pop-up, you will remain on the client’s calendar view.
- Clicking on an item within the Schedule or Activity sections will open a pop-up with additional details and direct you to the client’s calendar.
- Widget Insights:
- Clicking on any widget opens a more detailed graph within the corresponding section of the client’s Progress tab.
- Example: Selecting the Sleep widget will take you directly to the Hours of Sleep section in the Progress tab, where you can view more in-depth data.
- Note: The Average and 1-Week (1W) view are currently available only on the Insights Dashboard as we continue to build and enhance this experience.
- Clicking on any widget opens a more detailed graph within the corresponding section of the client’s Progress tab.

- Clicking on an item within the Schedule section will open a pop-up with additional details about the activity and direct you to your To-Do-Today Dashboard.
