The Client Insights Dashboard provides a centralized, at-a-glance view of key information to help support progress and coaching conversations. Trainers can use the dashboard to identify trends and support coaching conversations, while clients can quickly understand their performance and progress.

.

- Sleep
- Steps
- Body Weight
- Weekly Body Weight Average
- Caloric Intake
- Lean Mass
- Resting Heart Rate
- Progress Photos
Customizing the Dashboard on the Web
You can choose which widgets appear on the Insights Dashboard and customize how they are arranged.
Adding a Widget
Select Add Widget on the right side of the dashboard to open the widget picker.
Widgets already on your dashboard appear grayed out, while widgets available to add remain selectable.
From the widget picker, you can:
- Search for a widget by name.
- Select a widget to learn what information it provides and how you can use it.
- Select Leave a Suggestion to request additional widgets or dashboard functionality.
Once you decide on a widget, you can add it to your dashboard in three ways:
- Drag the widget from the picker and drop it in your preferred location.
- Select the plus (+) icon to add it to the bottom of the dashboard.
- Select the widget card to open its description and add it from the pop-up.
Rearrange, Resize or Remove Widgets
After adding a widget to the dashboard, you can drag and drop it to another position or resize it to display more or less information.
Note: The Weekly Compliance widget cannot be resized. All other available widgets can be resized.
To remove a widget from the dashboard:
- Select the three-dot menu on the widget.
- Select Delete.
Removing a widget does not delete the client’s data. The widget remains available in the widget picker and can be added again at any time.
Customizing the Dashboard on Mobile
On mobile, trainers can choose which widgets appear on the Insights Dashboard. You can show or hide widgets based on the information you want to review.
Mobile does not include all the layout controls available on the web. Widgets cannot be resized or moved into custom positions from the mobile app.
Understanding How Dashboard Layouts Are Saved
Your dashboard layout is saved to your own Trainerize account, not to an individual client. You only need to configure the dashboard once, and the same layout is used when you view your other clients.
If a business has multiple trainers, each trainer can configure their own layout. One trainer’s changes do not affect another trainer’s dashboard.
Filter Widget Data by Date
Widgets display tracked data over time. Depending on the widget, you can filter by a preset time frame (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year) or select a custom date range.
To view widget data for a custom date range:
- Select the time frame drop down on the top-right of the widget.
- Select Custom.
- Choose the start and end dates you want to review. Date ranges must be from 2023 or later.
The widget will now display your custom date range.
Custom date ranges can help you evaluate progress during a specific training phase, nutrition phase, or other relevant period.
Note: Custom date ranges are not available on the mobile app widgets.
Show or Hide Graph Data on the Web
The Insight Dashboard graphs on the web contain multiple data lines, such as recorded data, averages, or goals.
To hide a specific graph line:
Open the widget's expanded view.
- Select the applicable label below the graph, such as Average or Goal.
Select the label again to restore it to the graph.
Note: Some widgets on mobile may also display recorded or average values in a list beneath the graph.
View and Compare Progress Photos from the Insights Dashboard
The Progress Photos widget gives you an overview of a client’s uploaded photos directly from the Insights Dashboard. Photo comparison, previously available only in the mobile app, is now also available on the web through the widget’s expanded view.
To compare photos from the Insights Dashboard:
- Select the Progress Photos widget.
- Toggle on the Compare button.
- Select the dates you want to compare.
- Choose the front, side, or back view.
- Move between the available photos to compare them side by side.
This expanded view allows you to review and compare the client’s photos without leaving the Insights Dashboard.
Viewing Additional Widget Details
You can select activities and widgets on the Insights Dashboard to review more detailed client information.
View Schedule and Activity Details on Web
Selecting an item on the Schedule widget will direct you to the client's calendar.
For example, selecting tracked meals from the Schedule section displays the nutrition details for that day.
Selecting an activity will open the activity details within the Insight Dashboard itself.
View Schedule and Activity Details on Mobile
Selecting an item from the Schedule or Activity tab will open additional details and direct you to the client's calendar.
View Progress Widget Details on Web
Selecting a progress widget will open an expanded view in a pop-up on the same page.
For example, selecting Weekly Body Weight Average, Caloric Intake, or Sleep opens the widget’s detailed data without redirecting you to another area of the client’s profile.
Viewing Progress Widget Details on Mobile
Clicking on a widget opens a more detailed graph corresponding to the widget type. For example, electing selecting the Sleep widget will take you directly to the Sleep Progress tab, where you can view more in-depth data.
What Does a Client See on the Insights Dashboard?
Clients see the dashboard layout configured by their assigned trainer. They can view their Schedule and available progress widgets but cannot access the trainer-only Activity section or customize the dashboard layout.
Client Experience on the Web
Clients can select an item in the Schedule section to view more information and will be directed to their Things To-Do Today dashboard.
For example, selecting a workout opens its details. After closing the workout, the client can continue from the To-Do Today dashboard.
Clients can also select a widget to open its expanded progress information.
Client Experience on Mobile
Clients can select a widget to open its corresponding detailed progress graph.
For example, selecting the Sleep widget opens the Sleep Progress view.
