In addition to many other things, like starting a workout or cardio activity, clients can also view and cancel their appointments on their Apple Watches.
Here is an example of how the Things to do Today section looks like for clients on the watch:
Viewing appointments on the watch is simple. However, when it comes to cancelling, there are a few things to keep in mind.
Cancelling Appointments on the Apple Watch
Cancellation logic is the same on the watch as it is on the web or mobile app.
1. First and foremost, if self-cancellation for the appointment has not been allowed by the trainer, the "Cancel" button will not appear on the watch.
2. When appointment self-cancellation is allowed by the trainer, there are a few things scenarios:
- The appointment is from the past
- There is no "Cancel" button/option on the watch
- There is no "Cancel" button/option on the watch
- The appointment is too close to the start time
- There is no "Cancel" button/option on the watch
- There is no "Cancel" button/option on the watch
- The appointment is well before the start time
- If a session credit was used, and this is a one on one appointment, the client will be refunded the credit (to be available to use for another appointment) and the appointment will be cancelled as well as the trainer will be notified.
- If a session credit was not used for this appointment, the appointment will still be cancelled with a notification to the trainer.
- If a session credit was used, and this is a one on one appointment, the client will be refunded the credit (to be available to use for another appointment) and the appointment will be cancelled as well as the trainer will be notified.
