Trainers can choose from two widget types to enhance their workflow:
- Today's Appointments
- Quick Add
Before we cover these widget types, here is a quick guide on how to add widgets from your Android home screen.
How to Add Widgets to Your Home Screen
1. On your Home Screen, tap and hold any empty space and then tap Widgets.
2. Select the ABC Trainerize Fitness App from the list or search for it in the search bar.
3. Tap and hold the widget, and drag it to your home screen.
Please note: Android widgets pull data every 30 minutes.
- Widgets that support multiple sizes will have only one instance in the widget list. After the user adds the widget to the home screen, they can change its size (depending on widget, even large sizes are supported).
Widget Types
Today's Appointments:
- Light and dark operating system modes supported.
- In larger widgets, tapping an appointment takes you directly to the appointment in app.
- If there are no appointments, the widget displays a null screen with a coffee cup icon and the message: "Nothing scheduled for today". Tapping this will open the app.
Quick Add:
- Light and dark operating system mode not supported.
- Includes buttons for: Messages (opens the in-app messenger), appointments (creates a new appointment), add client (adds a new client), and Trainerize (opens the app),
- For Custom Branded Apps, the Quick Add widget will reflect your custom colours.
