The widgets feature is available exclusively on devices running iOS 14 and later.
Trainers can choose from two widget types to enhance their workflow:
- Today's Appointments
- Quick Add
Before we cover these widget types, here is a quick guide on how to add widgets from your iOS home screen.
How to Add Widgets to Your Home Screen
- On your Home Screen, tap and hold any empty space until the apps start to wiggle.
- At the top left of the screen, tap Edit.
- Select Add Widget.
- Select the ABC Trainerize Fitness App from the list or search for it in the search bar.
- Choose a widget type and size, then tap Add Widget.
- Select Done in the upper right hand corner.
Widget Types
Today's Appointments:
- Small and medium widget size supported.
- In the medium widget, tapping an appointment takes you directly to the appointment in app.
- In the small widget, tapping on any list item will simply open the app.
- If there are no appointments, the widget displays a null screen with a coffee cup icon and the message: "Nothing scheduled for today". Tapping this will open the app.
- Light and dark operating system modes supported.
Quick Add:
- Includes buttons for: Messages (opens the in-app messenger), appointments (creates a new appointment), add client (adds a new client), and Trainerize (opens the app),
- Only medium sized widget supported.
- For Custom Branded Apps, the Quick Add widget will reflect your custom colours.
- Light and dark operating system mode not supported.
