Once a client has purchased a product that includes sessions, the final step is to schedule those sessions on their calendar. If you would like clients to self-book sessions on their own calendar instead, visit How do clients self-book appointments/classes? for more details.
By this stage, you've already completed the following steps:
- Created an appointment type that includes paid sessions: How to create an Appointment or Class Type
- Created and sold the product that includes sessions: How to Add Paid Appointments to a Product (Main, Add-on and Session packs)
Now it's time to schedule those sessions your client just purchased!
How to Schedule a Paid Appointment
1. On your ABC Trainerize web account, navigate to the Scheduling Tab > Calendar.
- Make sure that you're viewing the calendar for the correct location and trainer. By default, the page will display the logged-in trainer's calendar.
2. Click on the date you want to schedule an appointment and select the appropriate appointment: 1 on 1 Appointment or Group/Class.
3. In the 'Add appointment' pop-up dialogue, it's important to select the correct Event Type that the client has purchased. Paid appointments are indicated by a dollar sign icon next to the appointment name as shown below.
4. Once the appointment is scheduled, you will see the client's remaining session credits adjusted on their profile card:
- For example, if a client purchased a session pack with 10 session credits and 1 of the sessions has been scheduled on the client's calendar, their remaining sessions will drop from 10 to 9.
- To view this section on a client's profile card, navigate to their Summary tab and scroll down on the left-hand side to view the Session Credits section.
Note: If you schedule an appointment using an Event Type that does not require a session credit, the session can still be booked, but no session credit will be deducted from the client's profile. It's important to check that the appointment you are scheduling for the client is the same as the paid session that the client has purchased.
