Memberships FAQ
Why isn’t my Glofox membership syncing or creating a client in Trainerize?
If a Glofox membership is not creating a client in Trainerize, check that the Import checkbox is selected in your Glofox integration settings.
To check this:
- In ABC Trainerize, go to Add-ons > Integrations.
- Under ABC Glofox, select Manage.
- Scroll to Set default behavior when new member/client is created in Trainerize.
- Under a membership is purchased, make sure the Import checkbox is selected.
If this checkbox is not selected, new Glofox members/clients will not be imported into Trainerize, even if the membership sync has been set up.
Why isn’t my Glofox membership showing up in Trainerize?
It's likely set up as a Service Credit Pack in Glofox. Only memberships are supported by the integration. To convert a service credit pack into a membership in Glofox:
- Log in to your Glofox account >
- From your dashboard, navigate to the Manage tab and select Services >
- Adjust the service under Pricing Plans, setting it up as a membership instead.
What happens when a client who exists in ABC Trainerize purchases an ABC Glofox membership?
f a client that already exists within ABC Trainerize purchases an integrated ABC Glofox membership, the automation will still be triggered. This means any Product Start automations, such as assigning a new training program or assigning a trainer, will run as configured. This ensures the client receives the correct programming based on their new ABC Glofox membership.
What happens if a client cancels, pauses, or has an overdue membership in ABC Glofox?
Only membership cancellation in ABC Glofox can trigger a client status change in ABC Trainerize.
If a membership is paused or overdue in ABC Glofox, no changes will be made in Trainerize. Paused memberships of overdue memberships do not trigger Product End automation and/or update the client’s Trainerize status.
What happens when a synced Glofox membership is cancelled?
When a synced Glofox membership is cancelled, what happens in Trainerize depends on whether membership automation is enabled.
If membership automation is enabled for the synced membership, the Product End automation will take priority over the default import settings.
If membership automation is not enabled, the integration will follow the default setting configured under:
Set default behavior when new member/client is created in Trainerize > a membership is deactivated in Glofox
How does Product End automation work for cancelled Glofox memberships?
Product End automation only runs when a synced Glofox membership is cancelled.
For automated deactivation to work, a Product End action must be configured for the synced membership. We recommend setting the Product End action to change the client type to Basic.
Other options, such as Delete, Offline, 1-way, or 2-way, may be available, but are not recommended.
Important: If membership automation is enabled but the Product End action does not have a client type selected, nothing will happen when the membership is cancelled in ABC Glofox. In this case, the automation exists, but there is no configured action for it to run.
Which setting takes priority when a Glofox membership is cancelled?
Membership-specific automation takes priority over the default import behavior.
If membership automation is enabled, the Product End automation will run.
If membership automation is enabled but Product End is not fully configured, nothing will happen when the membership is cancelled.
If membership automation is not enabled, the default membership is deactivated in Glofox setting will determine what happens.
