With the Studio/Enterprise Custom Branded App, you have the ability to add custom shortcuts or links to your app. Shortcuts will appear on the Client Dashboard, whereas custom links will appear in the More section of the app. You can use these custom shortcuts and links to direct to external webpages, resources, PDFs, etc.
Please note: The custom shortcuts and links feature is only available on the Studio/Enterprise app. Pro Custom Branded Apps do not have access to this feature.
Examples of Useful Shortcuts and Links
- Social media Links: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, your website, etc.
- Local Activities: Hikes, trails, and things to do (great for summer activity ideas!)
- Location-specific Groups: Facebook groups for different gym locations
- Important info PDF's: Gym hours, parking instructions, etc.
- Class Schedules: Link to your website or a PDF
- Guides: Grocery shopping guide or any other helpful guide
- Playlists: Spotify workouts playlists
Think about the useful links that are relevant to your business and create the ultimate customized experience for your clients. It's fun and functional!
How to Add Shortcuts and Custom Links
1. Log onto your ABC Trainerize web account
2. Navigate to Add-ons > Custom Branded App > Custom App Layout.
3. Under Custom App Layout, click SETUP for the section you want to add links to. There are two options:
- Shortcuts: Appear on the client's Dashboard
- Custom Links: Appear in the clients More section
4. Next, click the NEW button and select the type of link you want to add. You can add up to 8 shortcuts on the Dashboard.
- In the example below, we're going to add shortcut links to the Dashboard.
5. Choose your icon, enter the title (what clients will see), and paste the full link. Click Save.
6. If you need to re-arrange the order, simply click on the hamburger menu icon on the right side of the pop-up dialogue and drag and drop as needed.

It is important that you do not add any upsell links to sell digital products within your app, as this can result in your app being rejected.
