Celebrating small wins in a powerful way to boost client motivation! With the Zapier integration, you can automatically send messages to clients when they complete key milestones like workouts, habits, nutrition goals, or even reach a goal weight.
This automation applies to all clients on your ABC Trainerize account. Follow the steps below to create it.
Step 1: Set up the Trigger
1. Log into your Zapier account and select the orange + Create button > Create Zap.
2. Under the Trigger Setup tab:
- Select ABC Trainerize from the list of app connections.
- Select the trigger event. For the example below, we chose Workout Completed. however this can be swapped for other events such as Cardio Completed, Habit Completed, Daily Nutrition Goal Hit, or Weight Goal Hit.
- If not already connected, you will need to sign in and authenticate your ABC Trainerize owner account.
- Click Continue.
3. To confirm your trigger is set up correctly, you will need to test the trigger:
- Select Test Trigger.
- One or more records will appear. Click Continue with selected record.
Step 2: Set Up the Action
1. Under the Action Setup tab:
- Select ABC Trainerize from the list of app connections.
- Select the action event. For the example below, we chose Send Message in Trainerize.
- Your ABC Trainerize account will already be connected here from the trigger setup step. Click Continue.
2. In the Configure tab, you will need to enter additional fields about the message:
- Under "Send To" enter the email address of a client on your account.
- In the text box under "Body", enter the message that you would like to send to clients when the trigger (i.e. workout) is completed.
- Click Continue.
3. To confirm you action is set up correctly, you will need to test the action:
- Select Test Step.
- If the email used to setup and test the action step is the account owner email, there will be an error with this test. This occurs since the account email receiving the message cannot be the same as the account email sending it.
- If this occurs, select Skip test.
Step 3: Publish Zap
- Upon successful testing, you can now publish your Zap!
- Once published, the zap will start running automatically. This means that everytime a client completes a workout, they will receive an in-app message from the account owner.
