Configuring DataTrak for digital sales in Trainerize

Trainerize supports many different models of digital sales within DataTrak. We go over the most common sale types and how to configure DataTrak.

Please use only 1 of these methods below or it will cause a conflict in membership types.

Digital access bundled with base membership

In this scenario, you will sell a membership where digital access is included. Any members that opt for digital access will upgrade their membership to this new type.

  1. Create a new membership type that allows this digital app access. This is the core product that will govern app access.
  2. Turn on "Membership control" to automatically deactivate clients when the DataTrak product runs out or payment fails. This allows you to rapidly scale digital app access without having to worry about 
  3. Set up the automation for the membership type to subscribe to the appropriate master programs to deliver the content as needed.

Digital access as an add-on 

In this scenario, the base membership is not changed. You will layer on digital access. In this case, digital access is purchased as a new recurring service.

  1. Create new recurring services like "90 day challenge" or "Digital access".  You can have multiple digital core products but only 1 can be active at any time.
  2. Turn on "Membership control" to automatically deactivate clients when the DataTrak product runs out or payment fails. This allows you to rapidly scale digital app access without having to worry about 
  3. Set up the automation for the membership type to subscribe to the appropriate master programs to deliver the content as needed.
