The Withings integration with ABC Trainerize allows clients to sync their health data seamlessly. To connect, clients must have an existing Withings account, as the authentication process uses their Withings login credentials to authorize the connection.
Important: Only clients can connect their Withings accounts to ABC Trainerize. Trainers cannot connect their own Withings accounts.
How to Invite a Client to Connect Withings
1. On your ABC Trainerize web account, navigate to the Clients tab.
2. Select a clients name and open up their profile.
3. On the right of their profile card, click the Ask to Connect link next to Withings.
4. Confirm that you want to send the invite.
The client will receive an in-app message promoting them to connect their Withings account:
How Clients Can Connect to Withings
1. Clients will navigate to the More section (three-dot menu icon) on the bottom right of the mobile app navigation bar. From there, select Withings and tap Connect.
2. Clients will be prompted to log into Withings using their account credentials.
3. Ensure to select the Allow this app button to move forward with the connection.
4. After a successful connection, data syncing may take a few minutes.
- Clients will see a "Sync in background" message indicating the connection is in progress.
- The initial sync receives two weeks of past data which may take longer to complete.
What Syncs From Withings to ABC Trainerize?
When connected, the following data from Withings will sync to ABC Trainerize:
- Steps
- Body weight
- Sleep
- Lean Mass
- Resting heart rate
- Blood Pressure
- Body Fat
Where to View Synced Data from Withings
Once connected, trainers can view clients synced Withings data in the following locations within the ABC Trainerize app:
- Client Dashboard: View an overview of all synced data under the My Progress tiles section.
- Client Calendar: Monitor daily metrics uploaded.
- Activity Timeline: View tracked body stats (i.e. body weight and body fat) within the Recent Activities feed of a client's account.
- Progress Graphs: Track trends and improvements in health metrics.
