Keeping track of your income is an important part of running your fitness business. ABC Trainerize allows you to export your transaction history so you can review earning, organize financial records, and prepare for tax season.
You can export transaction data directly from the Payments > Transactions tab on your ABC Trainerize web account, or generate more detailed financial reports through your ABC Trainerize dashboard on your Stripe account directly.
Exporting Transactions from Trainerize
1. Click Payments from the left side menu, then select Transactions.
2. Click the filter icon in the upper-right corner to expand the filter options.
3. To export transactions for a specific tax year, select the Custom Date Range or Last Year option under Transaction Date and then Payment and Refund under Type. Click Apply to apply the changes.
Please note: You do not have to select both Payment and Refund in the same report. You could start with an export of the Payments report first and export the Refunds in a separate report to avoid clutter.
4. Once the filters are appkied and the transaction list refreshes, click Export button to download a CSV. spreadsheet of your transactions.
5. If you prefer not to wait for the download, select the EMAIL EXPORT WHEN READY option. The file will be sent to your email once the export is complete.
6. Once completed, select the click here button download to view your report.
Reviewing your Exported CSV File
Your export will download as a CSV spreadsheet, which can be opened in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers.
From there, you can:
- Create totals for payments or net earnings
- Remove columns not needed
- Sort or group transactions by month and/or client
- Format the spreadsheet for accounting or tax reporting
Looking for your 1099-K Tax Form?
ABC Trainerize does not issue tax forms directly. Payments in ABC Trainerize are processed through Stripe, which may issue you a 1099-K tax form.
