"Your App is Ready" Email Notification
Once your Custom Branded App is live, you will receive an email notification. Within the email, you have the option to notify your clients and trainers of the new app. This will send your clients and trainers an email with detailed instructions on how to migrate over to the new app seamlessly, depending on the device they have.
If you do not want to mass email your clients and trainers, you can copy your new app links to share. The steps on how to do so are covered in the section below.
Downloading Your Branded App
To download or share your Pro Custom Branded App store links, log into your Trainerize web account and navigate to Add-ons > Custom Branded App.
Once your app is live, you will see the links for your iOS and Android app as shown below:
iOS
For iOS, your app store link will go directly to the ABC Trainerize fitness app. Clients and trainers will follow the link provided to download the main ABC Trainerize app, and custom branding will be applied upon login.
- Login credentials (i.e. email address and password) are the same as normal
- Once logged in, the mobile app icon will update to your custom logo and in-app customizations will be applied.
- For iOS, the app name will stay "Fitness App", which is the name of the container app.
Note: If your branding does not appear on your first log-in, try logging out and back in once more.
Android
On Android, your custom app is accessed through the Google Play Store and is a separate standalone app. Clients and trainers will simply follow the link provided for the Google Play Store to download your app.
- Login credentials (i.e. email address and password) are the same as normal
- All of your custom branding is applied on download before logging in
Why Don't I Have My Own Listing in Apple?
The custom branding process works differently between Apple and Google.
- Google Play Store: You will receive an individual app store listing for your branded app.
- Apple App Store: Your app is still housed under ABC Trainerize. This is because Apple limits how publishers can work with multiple apps under one developer account. Since your branded app is under ABC Trainerize, you do not get your own listing.
With all iOS apps held within one container app, we can provide updates, new features, and bug fixes instantly.

Why Is the App Called "Fitness App" On My Apple Device?
Due to Apple's different publishing policies compared to Google, your branded app on Apple is housed under ABC Trainerize's container app. The generic title is "Fitness App". This cannot be changed as other Pro Custom Branded Apps are also housed under our container app for iOS devices.
The solution to this restriction was to provide white-labeling of our fitness app. This means once clients and trainers download the ABC Trainerize app and log in, it switches to your custom branding. The app name will remain with the generic title "Fitness App".
