We recognize the importance of being able to seamlessly integrate your Apple Health and Watch data with the ABC Trainerize platform to monitor your fitness progress. If you encounter any difficulties with the integration, we've got you covered!
This guide provides troubleshooting solutions to common issues. For details on connecting to the ABC Trainerize Apple Watch App, tracking a workout/cardio activity on the app, or what data syncs from Apple Health, please refer to our other Apple Watch articles.
Common Troubleshooting Steps
1. Verify Permission Settings
- Ensure that ABC Trainerize has the necessary permissions to access your Apple Health Data.
- To do this, go to your Apple Health app > select Sharing at the bottom > Apps and Services > Fitness App > and ensure all toggles are enabled.
2. Refresh Data Sync
- Sometimes, data syncing issues can be resolved by simply refreshing the data.
- Open the ABC Trainerize app, navigate to the Apple Health tab under the More Settings (...) menu > Connect > Apple Health, and manually sync your data by pressing the "Sync now" button if it is available.
3. Update Apps
- Ensure you have the latest versions of both the Apple Health app and ABC Trainerize apps.
- Check for any available updates in the app store and install them if necessary.
Disconnect and Reconnect the Integration
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, follow the steps below to disconnect and reconnect your Apple Health integration:
1. Disconnect the integration by first turning off all permissions from Apple Health to ABC Trainerize:
- To do this, navigate to the iOS Health app > Click your Profile Icon in the Top Right > Under Privacy, tap Apps and Services > Select the ABC Trainerize Fitness App > Tap Turn Off All.
2. Next, delete and reinstall both the ABC Trainerize app and the ABC Trainerize Watch app.
- To delete the ABC Trainerize app from your watch, go to the Watch app on your mobile device > scroll to find Fitness App > open > press the "Show on Apple Watch" toggle.
- After uninstalling and reinstalling both apps, proceed to the next step to reconnect the integration.
3. After re-installing, reconnect the Apple Health integration within the app:
- Navigate to the More section at the bottom right of the mobile app, scroll down to Apple Health, and tap Connect.
- Tap Turn All Categories On and hit Allow at the top right.
- You will be taken back to the Connect page and receive a confirmation that the integration has been successfully connected and synced the past week of data.
Apple Health and iPads
The Apple Healthkit and Apple Watch integration are not available with the ABC Trainerize app on iPad. The integration is only available on Apple iPhone devices.
