Troubleshooting for Clients - Apple Watch/Apple Health Not Syncing With ABC Trainerize

We recognize the significance of effortlessly integrating your Apple Health/Watch data with the ABC Trainerize platform to effectively monitor your fitness progress. If you encounter any difficulties with this integration, rest assured that we are available to assist you. We have compiled a list of common troubleshooting steps below to help you resolve any issues you may come across:


Ensure Proper Permissions:

  • Check Apple Health Permissions: Verify that ABC Trainerize has permission to read and write data from Apple Health. To do this, go to your iPhone's Settings > Privacy > Health > ABC Trainerize, and ensure all toggles are enabled.

Verify Data Sync:

  • Data Refresh: Sometimes, data syncing issues can be resolved by simply refreshing the data. Open the ABC Trainerize app, navigate to the Apple Health tab under the More Settings (...) menu > Connect > Apple Health, and manually sync your data by pressing the "Sync now" button if it is available.

Apple Healthkit Troubleshooting Instructions:

  1. Ensure that your Apple Health/Watch app is up to date: It is important to have the latest version of the Apple Health/Watch app installed on your device. Check for any available updates in the App Store and install them if necessary.
  2. Disconnect the integration by first turning off all permissions from Apple Health to ABC Trainerize. To do this, please use the search function on iOS to find Health > Click your Profile Icon in the Top Right > Under Privacy, tap Apps and Services > Select our App > TapTurn Off All.
  3. Next, delete and then reinstall both the ABC Trainerize and Apple Health apps. After uninstalling and reinstalling both the ABC Trainerize Fitness App and Apple Health, please proceed to the next step to reconnect the integration between the two.
  4. Go back to the More section at the bottom right of the screen on the mobile app, scroll down to Apple Health, and then tap Connect.


  5. Tap Turn All Categories On and then hit Allow at the top right. 


  6. You will then be taken back to the connect page and receive a confirmation that the integration has successfully connected and syncing the past week of data.
