The MyFitnessPal connection to ABC Trainerize requires your clients to create and set up a MyFitnessPal account before connecting.
Step 1: Setting your MyFitnessPal Dairy Sharing to “Public”
- Open your MyFitnessPal app and click on More > Settings > Dairy Settings > Dairy Sharing > Set to Public.
Step 2: Connect Trainerize and MyFitnessPal
- Open your Trainerize app and click on the 3-dot menu > MyFitnessPal > Connect.
Step 3: Log in with your MyFitnessPal USERNAME
- Please use your MyFitnessPal USERNAME to authenticate your account to ensure you are connecting the correct account
- Your username can be found on the MyFitnessPal mobile app by clicking on the More tab, as shown below. Your MFP username will be at the top of the screen.
Step 4: Authorize the Connection
- To authorize the connection, please click on Authorize > Done.
Step 5: Toggle on "Diary Sync"
- Once the connection is successful, you must toggle on the “Diary Sync” within the ABC Trainerize app to ensure meal details will pull through from MyFitnessPal into Trainerize.
You can now enjoy viewing your MyFitnessPal meal log data in Trainerize!

- The MyFitnessPal integration will not sync any other data into ABC Trainerize.
