How To Manage Trainers On Your Account

As your business expands, having multiple trainers or staff members can enhance client engagement and service delivery. Each trainer can have their own login and manage their own clients. In this article, we'll guide you through adding and deleting trainers in your account.

 

Adding a Trainer to Your Account

To add a trainer to your account, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Trainerize web account and navigate to the Team section on the left-hand side
  2. Click + Add New button
  3.  Fill out the information in the pop-up box (email address, first and last name and role). 
  4. Click Save to add the trainer.

Once added to an account, the trainer will recieve an invitation email to their email address to set up their account.

In the example below, the trainer is assigned the "Manager" permission level and added to the Los Angeles location. This means Trainer Samantha can manage and view clients and trainers within the Los Angeles location only. To learn more about the levels of permission given to trainers click here.

Once a trainer has been added, you can navigate back to your Team list and select the trainer's name to open their profile:

The trainer's profile contains all relevant information for that trainer. From here, managers, admins and owners can:

  • Edit the trainer's details
  • Change their role
  • Send a message
  • Assign trainer to new location

Deleting a Trainer from Your Account

If you need to remove a trainer from your account, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Trainerize web account and navigate to the Team section on the left-hand side
  2. Select the trainer you wish to delete by clicking the checkbox next to their profile
  3. Select the garbage can icon from the menu
  4. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up box

Important note: When deleting a trainer from the account, ensure their clients have already been assigned to another trainer. When deleting a trainer with assigned clients, a pop-up dialogue will appear prompting you to re-assign them:

Deleting a trainer will remove their access to the account and will permanently delete their profile and all related data. This action cannot be undone.
