If you've noticed the word "trimmed" in some of your clients training phases, you might be wondering what this means and why it's appearing. This article will explain why a training phase may be labeled as "trimmed" and how you can rename the phase to remove it.
Why Does the Training Phase Say "Trimmed"?
The term "trimmed" appears within a client's training phase when you import a new training phase into an existing program timeline. If the new phase overlaps with the dates of the current phases, the system merges them into the same timeline. The merging process attempts to fit the new phase into the existing schedule, which may cause some of the current training phases to be shorted or overwritten to avoid conflict.
When merging, the system will detect this scheduling conflict and prompt you to confirm the merge:
Once merged, any training phases that have been shorted will automatically be labeled with the word "trimmed" to indicate their duration was adjusted:
How to Rename a Trimmed Training Phase
If you would like to rename a "trimmed" training phase:
- Locate the trimmed training phase within your client's program.
- Select the three-dot icon next to the training phase and select Rename.
- Remove the word "trimmed" and update the phase name as needed.
Remember: each training phase name must be unique, so you cannot use a name already in use within the same program.
