How do I get a custom branded mobile app?

Custom Branded Mobile Apps are white-labeled, individual apps powered by Trainerize for both iOS and Android, created specifically for your business.

This allows you to:

  • Provide a more personalized experience for your customers
  • Gain a competitive advantage over businesses who don’t offer a branded mobile app
  • Raise more brand awareness and get discovered in the market
  • Save money in developing your own custom app

The Trainerize Team handles the creation and launch of the app for a one-time fee (we even submit it to the App Store and Google Play Store for you), and continuous updates to your app are included. We’ve made custom mobile apps a cost-effective business solution as part of your Trainerize plan.

You must be on a Studio 30 plan or higher to obtain a custom branded mobile app. If you downgrade your account, your app will be removed from the app stores. 

 

Upon submission to Trainerize, the overall publishing process can take up to approximately 3 weeks pending approval from both the Apple and Google app stores and our current queue.

How long does it take to get approved for the Custom Branded Mobile App?

 

The process is simple. Just follow the steps below:

Step 1.

  • Login to your Trainerize web account
  • Click on "Add-Ons" in the bottom left hand corner
  • From here you will see the first option "Custom Branded Mobile App". Click on "Get Your App"

 

Step 2. (If you are already on a Studio plan you will not see this step.)

You must be on a Studio 30 plan or higher to obtain a custom branded mobile app. If you need to you can upgrade at this stage by clicking the "Upgrade Now" button or if you wish to upgrade to a larger Studio plan click "Show me all plans and prices". 

 

Once you have upgraded you will see this confirmation screen and you will receive an invoice via email in regards to the upgrade.

 

Step 3. 

From the Add-ons area choose which custom branded mobile app option you would like to use. Express Setup or Guided Setup. Once you've made your selection on the type of setup you require, click "Confirm". You will receive an invoice via email in regards to which custom branded app setup you have chosen.

Step 4. 

Upon confirmation of which setup option you choose an email will be sent to your Trainerize account email address containing a form for you to submit your Custom Branded Fitness app details. Follow the directions on the form provided for the type of setup that you have chosen. Step 5.

Click "Submit Form"

The publishing process takes a few weeks, pending approval from the app stores, and based on our current queue. Once both the iOS and Android apps are ready, we'll let you know and we'll give you an option to seamlessly notify everyone in your business to switch over to your custom app.
