Difference between grouping as superset vs. circuits
Within a Regular workout, you can combine exercises to create supersets or circuits.
- Supersets. Build out a traditional superset with no rest between exercises and a rest between each superset.
- Circuits. Build out a mini-circuit of exercises and rest blocks within a regular workout. Any inline rest periods will be preserved.
Grouping as superset
- Navigate into the workout edit view, by clicking on "Edit" on a workout (You can also get to this view when creating a new workout)
- Check off the exercises that you wish to superset
- Click the button "Superset"
- Click "Save" (if you are done with editing workout)
One inline rest is added by default to a superset and you can change its value, as well as change the number of sets of the superset:
To add multiple rests in a Superset, add more than one inline rest to a Superset by changing the value of zeroed out inline rests:
Click "Save" if you are done with editing.
Grouping as circuit
- Navigate into the workout edit view, by clicking on "Edit" on a workout (You can also get to this view when creating a new workout)
- Check off the exercises that you wish to circuit
- Click the button "Circuit"
- Click "Save" (if you are done with editing workout)
Inline rests remain the same and you can change its value, as well as number of rounds:
If you wish to change the rest time, simply change the value of the inline rest of each exercise or even zeroed it our if you wish not to have the rest between exercises:
Click "Save" if you are done with editing your workout.
